If you are only going to play nascar and/or the settings you use will be for all games, then just as Bold says a persistent profile may be cool also. You must then set up a button in your profiler for the same key, and yes you would need it set in the specific game profile, if you create another profile for say GTR, like I did, then I had to redo the settings for that Game also. SOz if my notes wern't clear, you specify a key in Venrtillo for chat. One question, I have a profile set for Nascar and launch from there, is this the profile I set the link to vents transmit key in?Ĭheers to you as well Bold.I will try that to. I usually use Lcontrol for vent and for some reason the profiler doesn't like recording that. I was rushing like a madman trying to get it set up before last nights race so probably missed something.

I am pretty sure I tried something similar to that but will give it another go. Then in game I have to turn steering sensitivity almost all the way down(slider to the right.Lancealot wrote:Thanks Sulley.
#LOGITEC MOMO PROFILER INSTALL#
To get my Momo wheel feeling good in game, I had to install Logitech profiler and lower my wheel steering axis sensitivity to around 5%. I introduced my father to ETS2 and he also owns a G27 wheel, so yes I can highly recommend that one after trying! The 900 degrees of rotation really make a nice "truck feel" difference and you also get some extra buttons on the H-shifter console to set up for truck duties, even if you don't end up hammering gears It amazes me how well this old wheel still works and always impresses friends when they try ETS2, especially the feeling of engine RPM through the wheel, etc. Great to hear that the Momo is still working! That is the same wheel I am currently using and loving! It was given to me by a good friend when he upgraded to G27. I don't know if that's true, but even if it is I certainly hope I never need it. I do know that since they have no replacement parts anymore, my three year warranty is about useless, except that if it dies I hear from a few other people that I may be able to get a check from them instead of a replacement. You should call or email them and see if they have any. I bought mine directly from Logitech on their website, which doesn't list any G27's now, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't have any left. I use my Dual Action Gamepad for the extra buttons that I would have if I did use the shifter. Mine are still sitting in the box it was shipped in as I can't use the peddles and I prefer automatic and don't need the shifter. I know it will work (assuming it actually does work) without the shifter or peddles, as I use mine without them. If you can find one cheap enough, if you can get any kind of return policy (just in case it doesn't work) you might want to try it. I have seen some incomplete ones (wheel only, no shifter or peddles) for sale at yard sales, mom and pop computer stores, etc., and sometimes these are very cheap. The wheel detected right away in DiRT and I chose the Momo preset to begin with, then calibrated as per the inctructions on. So the Momo is always going to be sensitive. Most wheels are being manufactured with much higher range of rotation (900 and more). I didn't realise how addicted I've become to my virtual road trips (I play ETS2 for an hour or two every single night) until suddenly losing this peripheral. The problem with the Momo Force in modern sims is that its rotation is limited to 240. Tested the power adapter and it is still putting out 24vdc. Then when I sat down to do some nice peaceful driving tonight I found I had no wheel at all. I may even have heard it die - while working at another computer I heard the wheel motor start up and then stop, spontaneously kinda wondered what that was about. It was not in use at the time, just powered on.
#LOGITEC MOMO PROFILER MAC#
Must be Mac compatibleĬould I have killed this wheel by plugging it into a modern USB3 hub? The hub says it is USB2 compatible and I haven't had any problems with other USB devices so far, but I'm still looking for some reason why it died. I am thinking about a G27 - maybe a step up in quality? - but before seriously trying to win an ebay auction thought I would ask for some opinions about good USB wheels for ETS2. I can't drive! Going back to keyboard and mouse is really not attractive, so I guess I'm shopping for another wheel to feed my serious ETS2 habit. Now, despite receiving correct DC power, nothing lights up and no usb connection. My Logitech MoMo gaming wheel died spontaneously sometime since last night. Yikes, now I am an ETS2 addict with no fix.
